Richmond Salsa Festival Tonight to Feature Conjunto Imagen

Conjunto Imagen, a swinging salsa band from New York will headline the Richmond Salsa Festival TONIGHT. Conjunto Imagen, featured on the current cover of Latin Beat Magazine has recorded 11 CDs. Their newest release, Ayer, Hoy y Manana has made it on to the top 10 lists across the country and in Puerto Rico. Eileen recently traveled to New York’s El Flamingo Night Club to see the group perform. They possess an energy that radiates forth in live performances and resonates well with dancers. Steven Greene is hosting the Richmond Salsa Festival at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, on Friday July 8, 2005, from 7pm-1am, featuring dance performances and additional live music by Bio Ritmo, and the Latin Jazz Ensemble.
